January 2020: Bruno is featured on ‘Zeit Online’ for being a successful mattress start-up that, unlike other mattress companies, focused on diversification early on thus making it economically profitable.

February 2020: Under the title ‘Break-Through for Bootstrapped Mattress Start-Up Bruno’, ‘Business Insider Online’ covers the sale to Nord Holding Gesellschaft and details how Bruno successfully operated without investors.

June 2019: The German furniture magazine ‘Möbelmarkt’ features a detailed report of the Bruno sofa bed in its June issue. The trade magazine highlights in particular the box spring technology and simple folding mechanism.

November 2019: The lifestyle magazine, ‘Stilvoll WOHNEN’, showcases the Berlin metal bed in the category ‘Inspirations and Dreamlike Accessories for your bedroom’ describing it as an ‘extremely durable and sturdy bed with an impressive, minimalist design’.

May 2019: The Bruno sofa bed voted a ‘must-have’ by the editorial team of ‘Lifestyle Magazine’ in terms of comfort and enjoyment: ‘At last, a sofa bed you’re not only happy to sleep on, but loath to leave’.

December 2019: The interior design magazine ‘101 Wohntrends’ features the Bruno sofa bed in its ‘Beautiful Belongings’ section, adding that it ‘combines timeless design, high quality, plus outstanding comfort for both sitting and sleeping’.

September 2018: ‘Start-Up News’ introduces Bruno in a TV segment: In an interview, German news channel ‘n-tv’ editor Janna Linke and founder Felix Baer cover the topic of rapid growth and self-financing examined within the context of start-ups.

October 2016: In the home and fashion magazine ‘COUCH’, the Bruno Ottoman bed and Mattress are both featured under the headline ‘Sleeping – The New Luxury’ and are described as a ‘good combo’.

August 2016: The German consumer watchdog ‘Stiftung Warentest’ summarises their test results of online mattress retailers: The Bruno mattress prevails over the competition and scores the highest with a mark of 2.7.

April 2016: The team from ‘Grip Motormagazin’ demonstrates how the Audi RS 6 can be converted into a sleeping space using the Bruno mattress. The car experts agree: ‘The Bruno mattress is a first-class mattress made in Germany’.

January 2016: The editors of ‘ETM Testmagazin’ test all aspects of the Bruno mattress, from ordering and assembly to quality and comfort. The verdict: 4.5/5 points, because, as they state, with this mattress you ‘get a great night's sleep’.

December 2016: Under the headline ‘Celebrating sleep’, German newspaper ‘Der Spiegel’ presents the top mattress start-ups and discusses the advantages of buying from Bruno: Try it out at home and a free right to return.

December 2016: The German business newspaper ‘Handelsblatt Online’ notices Bruno's innovative mattress and the successful online sales concept and presents the brand in more depth.
