The Right of cancellation applies to consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB (“consumer” being any individual who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly be attributed neither to their commercial nor to their independent professional activity). If the customer is a tradesperson (§ 14 BGB), they have no Right of cancellation or return in accordance with § 312g BGB in conjunction with § 355 BGB.
Right of cancellation
You have the right to cancel your order within fourteen days without having to specify any reasons. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party indicated by you, who is not the carrier, take possession of the item(s). This can be done by means of a clear declaration (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax or email) of your decision to cancel your order. You can use the attached sample cancellation form for this purpose, although it is not mandatory. In order to meet the cancellation deadline, it is only necessary for you to send your cancellation notice before the end of the cancellation period.
Following cancellation of your order
If you choose to cancel your order, we will reimburse all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs incurred as a result of choosing a different delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), as soon as possible and no later than within fourteen days from the day we receive your cancellation notice of this order. The same means of payment that you used for the original transaction will be used for this repayment, unless expressly arranged otherwise – you will not be charged any fees for this repayment under any circumstances. We may withhold repayment until such time as the goods have been returned to us or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the item(s), whichever is sooner. The goods must be returned to us immediately and by no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the cancellation of your order. If you return the goods before the end of the fourteen-day period, you will have complied with the agreed time limit. We will collect and cover the costs of returning the item(s). You will only be liable to pay for any loss in value of the goods when this loss in value is a result of the use and handling of the goods which was not necessary for the inspection of the quality, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Grounds for exclusion or expiry
The Right of cancellation does not apply to the following:
for the delivery of goods which are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which is based on an individual request or specification by the customer or which are clearly tailored to the customer's personal requirements.
The Right of cancellation expires prematurely for the following products:
for the delivery of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for hygienic or sanitary reasons, if their seal has been removed after delivery;
for the delivery of goods if after the delivery they have been inseparably mixed with other goods due to their nature;
for the delivery of computer software in a sealed package if the seal has been removed after delivery.

Voluntary return policy of up to 30 days after receipt of goods
For all purchases made on Brunointerior.co.uk, in addition to the legal Right of cancellation, we grant you a voluntary right to return goods for a total of 30 days after receiving your goods. Like the legal Right of cancellation, the voluntary right to return applies only to customers within the meaning of § 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB). With this right to return, you can also cancel your order after the expiry of the 14-day cancellation period (see cancellation policy above) by notifying us within 30 days (beginning on the day on which the goods are received). The condition for exercising the voluntary right to return is that the goods are returned complete, in their original condition, intact and without damage. In the event that you wish to return the goods, please contact us, and we will arrange a collection date, provided that it is from the original delivery address. In the case of pillows, blankets and toppers, the customer must deliver the goods independently to a DHL station for return shipment. We will cover the costs of the return shipment for orders delivered to the UK, provided that the value of the return shipment is at least 250.00 pounds. For returns from other countries (e.g., Spain or Italy), the return costs must be paid by the customer and the return transport must be organised by the customer. The voluntary right to return does not apply to the purchase of gift vouchers.
When exercising the voluntary right to return, the repayment shall be made to the account you used for payment. In the case of payment by invoice, transfer by advance payment, immediate transfer and direct debit, the refund will be made to the account from which the transfer/direct debit was made. In the case that the customer has paid by PayPal or credit card, the refund will be made to the associated PayPal/credit card account.
For the purpose of granting the right to return, pillows and blankets may only be inspected (such as in a shop) and not tested (slept upon).
The legal Right of cancellation shall not be affected by compliance with our policy on the additional contractually granted (voluntary) right to return and shall remain in force irrespective of this. Until the expiry of the period for the legal Right of cancellation, only the legal conditions listed there shall apply. Furthermore, the contractually granted (voluntary) right to return does not limit your legal warranty rights. These remain unrestricted.
We reserve the right to refuse the 30-day voluntary return policy if the order is placed by a person who works for or is associated with a competitor. This applies to all products offered.
